Operation Enraged Muskrat
After years of tension, war erupted between Turkey and Bulgaria. It has a bloody two year conflict with a high death toll. The two countries have both been left in ruins, with the governments in a state of anarchy. Riots and looters are all that remain in the cities. Although the Governments are all but completely gone, the two Generals continue to wage war against one another. Without politics to slow them down or prevent further atrocities, they keep pushing for an end game. August 1st 2010, that End Game will come.
Info:
Date/Time: August 1st, 10:00am-4:00pm
Location: Command Decisions Wargame Center
Cost: $15
Additional Info: This is a hybrid realmil/mil-sim with aspects of both mixed together. There will not be a lunch break, so be sure to bring food to eat in the field. Game on will be at 10:00am on the dot, get there early and be ready to hit the field at 10. There will also not be an Admin at this game, we will be using a system I’ve put together that will allow the Generals, and players to admin themselves. The entire field won’t be in play due to paintballers, but Ferg is giving us the larger, and in my opinion better, part of the field. Bring plenty of water, it will be hot!
The game will be mission based, each mission block being timed and worth a specified amount of points (below I'll post a breakdown of the day). Instead of having an admin, the General will have all the missions for the day given to him at the pre-game brief, they will be sealed in individual envelopes that are marked (IE: "Turkey, Mission 1, 1000-1100). At the start of that mission block the general will open the envelope, read the mission, and act however he see's fit. During the brief the Generals will also be given a "Mission Card", which is very similar to a score card used for golf. It will have a very simple yes or no question for each mission, at the end of the mission the general will check the corresponding box accordingly. At the end of the day, I'll collect the cards from both Generals and add up the points. I also mentioned that there were aspects of realmil games mixed into this, that also comes down to the general. The generals will be the only players that have medic rules, they will be medic'd using the "untie knots" method 82nd uses. If anyone doesn't know what I mean by that Mike can speak up or I'll explain it more in depth the day of. These Missions are set up to give the players a good balance of sneaking, shooting, and objectives. I'll post a map of the AO below, its a custom map that I've put together just for this game. This will be the map for the game, bases and roads aren't labeled on purpose.
If anyone has any questions feel free to ask. This game has a lot of work put into it, you wont be disappointed.
I need two volunteers for Generals. Pm, or Email me if you’re interested. If you plan to attend Op Enraged Muskrat, post up here or email me. This will probably be my last game before leaving for Parris Island, I’d love to have a decent turnout. Thanks Guys!
Lastly: Due to the lack of space, i'll have to cap it off at 60 players. 30 per team, so pm or email me so i can add you to the roster!
Also, there will not be a green/tan division at this game, so you'll have to identify your targets!
Email: Drystenx@gmail.com
If anyone wants a higher res map i can provide larger, i didn't want to bog down this thread with a huge image.

Sorry, I won't be able to make this one. I'll be at EAGLE
As I mentioned on the phone I wish this event was on a different weekend so I could attend. Depending on how things go that last day of Eagle will dictate if I can make it up there. You put a lot of thought and effort in this game and it shows. Take pictures!
To everyone else, this is Drysten's final game before heading to USMC Boot Camp. Lets send him off TF16 style by making this a great event! So if you can't attend the all weekend game at Wolf Creek, this is a great single day opportunity!
Sounds like a good time! You can bet I'll mark this down on my calendar!
sign me up for somthing fun. Or just something to shoot someone.
I am so sad to say I have to work that weekend.
There will be a donation jar at this event for my brother Josh (Marcallin on here) he and his fiance lost their daughter yesterday, two days before her due date. There is no pressure for this, but if you feel you want to support them with things like funeral expenses, anything will be appreciated. He's doing really well all things considered. Thanks for the consideration.
am coming back from the beach sat so this may be a go!
